Enjoy the quiet natural woodland setting of our bed and breakfast located just 20 minutes from the villages of Tobermory to the north and Lion's Head to the south. Moeke's Ankerstee (meaning Mother's "Anchor Place" or "mooring place" in Dutch) is set amidst 25 acres of forest near Dyer's Bay, on the Bruce Peninsula. We are within easy driving distance from the Bruce Trail (some access points such as the hike to Devil's Monument are only 3.5 km away), Bruce Peninsula National Park, Fathom Five National Marine Park, Cabot Head Lighthouse, Larkwhistle Gardens, Sandy beaches, scenic drives, bicycle route to Lion's Head, boat launches and several nature preserves. In the winter season enjoy the outdoor activity of snow-shoeing or skiing. The local snowmobile trail is only 0.79 km to the west of us.

Our Bed and breakfast has 2 tastefully decorated large suites. The common room is comfortable and bright, with a fireplace for those chilly winter evenings.
We provide a full breakfast with a variety of wholesome breads and home made jams (not necessarily by Ina).
Free wireless is available for those who feel the need to stay connected.
